Rangers fans have experienced some special Thursday's at Ibrox over the past few years, with their run to the 2022 Europa League final and several European games since providing plenty of memorable moments.
The Light Blues have tended to perform better when the pressure is off, and that's exactly what happened when they faced Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic in the first Old Firm derby of 2025.
Rangers, who went into the game on the back of a week which saw them fall 14 points behind their city rivals in the title race, were outstanding and triumphed as comfortable 3-0 winners.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers had only lost once in his previous 20 matches against Rangers, and it was fair to say he seemed confident about continuing that remarkable record ahead of the match.
That didn't come to fruition and former Rangers striker Kris Boyd believes Rodgers' slack approach perhaps spiralled through the Celtic team, who were miles off their usual standards.

"You ask where this performance has been? But I suppose it is a Thursday," Boyd joked on Sky Sports punditry.
"Rangers need to get Celtic's level of consistency. But it was 3-0 and it should have been a lot more.
"I thought he [Rodgers] was a little bit bullish and thought it was going to be easy in his press conference and that has maybe come back to bite him.
"You just kind of got the feeling it meant a lot more to Rangers today."
