Celtic land Sky Sports slot as St Mirren trip moved to new date for TV coverage

Celtic's Premiership match with St Mirren next month has been moved for coverage on the TV via Sky Sports.

Originally scheduled to take place on September 17th, the match will now take place on Sunday 18th September with a 12pm kick-off. It will be a match the Hoops are looking to claim victory in, coming two weeks after their first derby of the season against Rangers.

That occurs this Saturday as Ange Postecoglou's men look to gain an extended advantage at the top of the table in pursuit of retaining their Premiership title. Celtic head into that off the back of a stunning 9-0 win over Dundee United on Saturday, which has culminated in the sacking of their head coach, Jack Ross. Postecoglou, speaking ahead of their Premier Sports Cup last 16 tie at Ross County, says it just goes to show the lack of time managers get in football these days.
