Celtic kid Alexander Walker has moved to Scottish Premiership rivals Hearts.
The 16-year-old has spent a long period in the Hoops youth system and played for the Under-18s side at Parkhead last season. The left-sided centre-back has penned a two-year deal with the capital club, in a move that bolsters the Jambos' ranks.
Academy Director Frankie McAvoy has expressed his delight at bringing the youngster on board after he spent the past few weeks training with the club. He's described the defender as great on the ball and with his both feet and says he is raring to go and grasp the opportunity presented to him with chances at Celtic not as prolific as hoped.
Speaking to Hearts' official website, McAvoy said: "He's great with both feet, good on the ball, and looking forward to grasping the opportunity to come to Hearts and progress.
