Celtic kid Kerr McInroy needs to make his mind up, warns Airdrie boss

Airdrie boss Ian Murray would love to have Kerr McInroy back at Airdrie, but says he can't wait forever on a decision.

McInroy has been a huge success at the League One club, with four goals to his name, and his all-round play has garnered him some rave reviews.

The 21-year-old headed back to Celtic on January 10 when his loan deal expired, knowing that he needs to make a big decision on where his future lies.

While Murray still hopes that's at New Broomfield, the former Rangers and Hibs star says he needs to look at other targets.

He said: "It has been a few weeks now, we've had a lot of games now without Kerr and done reasonably well, the boys have stepped up to the mark.

"But we've also got a decision to make.

"We're looking all around for players and we can't wait forever, that's the bottom line - and we won't wait forever.

"We want guys that are hungry and want to come and play for Airdrie and develop.

"Kerr has done remarkably well, he was great for us, but if it's not meant to be it's not meant to be, we've been very clear with Kerr and with Celtic.

"I think Celtic are on the same page as us, but we're not going to hang around forever."
