Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed Wishaw's David Turnbull is closing in on a return to competitive Hoops action.
The creative midfielder hasn't featured in 2022 after suffering a hamstring problem in December's League Cup final against Hibs.
Turnbull has worked his way into Scotland contention at Celtic after initially joining the Parkhead side from Motherwell in 2020.
While Monday's Scottish Cup quarter-final on Monday between Dundee United and Postecoglou's team will be too soon for the Wishaw ace, he could be back soon after.
His Australian boss has confirmed that Turnbull will return to training in the imminent future.
He said: "It's too soon. All going well, he will train with us post-Monday and we will see where we go from there.
"He's almost back training with the team."
