It has been the perfect start for Celtic this season, with six wins from six so far.
Before putting four goals past Rangers on Saturday, the Hoops netted nine on the road, thrashing Dundee United at Tannadice to secure Jack Ross' Tayside departure. They Parkhead side have also enjoyed wins over Aberdeen, Ross County, Kilmarnock and Hearts so far. Ange Postecoglou 's men have won by two goals or more in every league clash this term, conceding just one goal in 540 of Scottish top flight football. Good going, eh? And it means they enjoy a five point cushion at the top of the table, with a plus 24 goal difference for good measure.
But the Hoops' maximum points tally (18), alongside their extraordinary goal difference, doesn't just top the cinch Premiership table. In fact, it tops the world football form rankings when comparing every side's last six matches. Certainly a confidence booster if ever it was needed, coming in good time with one of Europe's most elite clubs visiting Glasgow's east end this week.
In second spot are Chinese Super League outfit Wuhan Three Towns FC who match the Celts on points but not quite on goal difference, with 16 compared to 24. Eliteserien side Molde also sit pretty with 18 points in third. The Norwegian side have a goal difference of 12.
Royal Antwerp and Novi Pazar are next, also securing maximum points from their last six outings. The Belgian First Division A and Serbian side have plus 10 and plus eight goal difference respectively.
Celtic are turning their attention to Europe for now, though, with Ancelotti's Real Madrid the visitors on Tuesday. The top of the table boost is sure to fill Ange Postecoglou's side with confidence, especially after their impressive display at the weekend. But the Parkhead outfit will know they must be at their best when the Champions League title holder come knocking.
