South Korea boss Hong Myung-bo has revealed he met with Scottish-based duo Yang Hyun-Jun and Kwon Hyeok-kyu and is set to hand them international call-ups.
Celtic star Yang has been impressing recently after getting plenty of game time under Brendan Rodgers with the Hoops.
And his Parkhead teammate Kwon has made 22 appearances for Hibs this season on loan from Celtic.
South Korean boss Hong made a scheduled trip to meet with his European-based players earlier this month.
And he revealed he went to Scotland to speak to his South Korean-based players.
He said: "My trip to Europe was very beneficial. Accompanied by my coaches Park Geon-ha, Kim Dong-jin, and Kim Jin-gyu, we watched games in Scotland, England, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium.
