Stephen Frail has been appointed as interim manager with Jon Obika and Richard Foster assisting in the dugout.
Quickly, Brown's name emerged in rumours over a successor to Kettlewell at Fir Park.
However, the former Celtic captain has insisted he won't be heading to Lanarkshire as he keeps hi focus on Ayr United.
The former Scotland internationalist currently has his side top of the Championship table by one point over Falkirk.
And Brown has vowed he is only focused on matters at Ayr as he looks ahead to a Scottish Cup tie against former club Hibernian on Friday.
