Chris Sutton has tried his hand at refereeing as he took on his first ever match as the man in the middle before joking "maybe I'll try Glasgow next".
The former Celtic star is never shy in delivering his opinion on the big talking points in our game - including decisions from the officials. VAR is now in force in Scotland's top flight with the referee and his team now at all Premiership games assisted with major calls for penalties, offsides, red cards regularly checked by the video assistant.
It's become a major talker - both good and bad - this campaign with decisions from officials often under the spotlight. Now, the Hoops hero has taken to the pitch to experience the role of a referee first hand as he took on a match between Rosehill and Didcot in Oxfordshire. He labelled the experience as 'really interesting' and even quipped that he would give it another shot north of the border.

He wrote on Twitter: "Really interesting morning refereeing my first ever match between Rosehill and Didcot in Oxfordshire and getting an understanding of what it’s like for the man in the middle. Huge credit to both teams and the supporters…maybe I’ll try Glasgow next…"
The ex-Celtic striker also offered his assessment on Ange Postecoglou and his troops as they continued their relentless march towards the Premiership title. They chalked up victory 23 in 25 league outings with a big 4-1 win over St Johnstone in Perth.
He added: "I thought today might be tricky for Celtic… what do I know!!! What has been incredible is the high standards and level of performance this current Celtic team keep churning out week after week. It’s really not an easy thing to do. Total respect… but still work to do."
Andrew Considine netted an own goal to give the Hoops the advantage before in-form Kyogo Furuhashi added a second midway through the first half.
Drey Wright brought the home side back into the contest minutes later but Aaron Mooy restored the two-goal advantage before David Turnbull rounded off the scoring in added time at the end of the match in Perth.
