Chris Sutton believes Rangers are capable of getting a result at Liverpool - but reckons Mo Salah will have a 'field day' up against Borna Barisic.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst and his Light Blues take on the English Premier League outfit tonight at Anfield in a Battle of Britain Champions League clash. The Ibrox men are yet to get off the mark in the section after heavy defeats to Ajax and Napoli. They returned back to winning ways pre-international break against Dundee United and followed that up with a big win over Hearts at Tynecastle on Saturday lunchtime.
Liverpool have been out of sorts this season and once again dropped points in a six goal thriller with Brighton to leave them sitting ninth in the league standings. Sutton has described the encounter as 'nothing to lose' match for Rangers and while he still fancies Jurgen Klopp's men to come out with the three points, the Celtic hero believes the visitors are more than capable of grabbing a result.

Speaking to 5 Live Sport's Monday Night Club, Sutton said: "It's going to be really difficult. "They had a strong performance at the weekend. Ryan Kent returning to Liverpool, he's been a good signing for Rangers but doesn't get enough goals and assists for a player of his quality.
"They lost four to Ajax, three at home to Napoli, but this isn't such a daunting prospect as Liverpool in previous seasons. They've got to feel that and they've basically got nothing to lose going to Anfield. Nobody expects them to get a result.
"Kent is the danger-man. They've got issues at the back, Ben Davies, a former Liverpool player, played at the weekend alongside Connor Goldson, but I worry about Barisic.
"He has great delivery but Mo Salah going up against him will have a field day. But Rangers have to view it as a shot to nothing - go there, play with confidence, and hope to catch Liverpool on a downer. I still fancy Liverpool to win the game but Rangers are capable."
