Celtic have added ex-Tottenham manager David Pleat to their English scouting set up.
The 80-year-old is credited with the signings of Dele Alli, Jan Vertonghen and Ben Davies and will be tasked with bringing top talent to the Scottish champions from south of the border.
Celtic head of recruitment Paul Tisdale has offered Pleat a scouting role on 12-month deal, as reported by The Daily Mail.

Tottenham announced Pleat would be stepping back from his duties at the end of last season after serving in a number of different roles at the North London club.
The Premier League veteran has been associated with Spurs for over 40 years, managing the side across two spells between 1986 and 2004. He served as director of football in 1998 before spending 14 years as a scout.
He has also managed Luton Town and Leicester City.
