Celtic hand shock scouting role to 80-year-old former Spurs boss

Celtic have added ex-Tottenham manager David Pleat to their English scouting set up.

The 80-year-old is credited with the signings of Dele Alli, Jan Vertonghen and Ben Davies and will be tasked with bringing top talent to the Scottish champions from south of the border.

Celtic head of recruitment Paul Tisdale has offered Pleat a scouting role on 12-month deal, as reported by The Daily Mail.
