ANGE POSTECOGLOU says that Scottish clubs making their mark in Europe is nothing new, as he sent a reminder to Rangers that Celtic are the only club from this country to have won the European Cup ahead of Sunday’s clash between the rivals at Celtic Park.
Postecoglou congratulated Rangers manager Giovanni Van Bronckhorst for guiding his team to the Europa League semi-finals, where a battling display in a 1-0 defeat against RB Leipzig in Germany on Thursday night gives them a fighting chance of making it all the way to the final in Seville.
But the Celtic manager couldn’t resist the opportunity to remind everyone about the achievements of his own club in the past, winning the biggest prize the continent has to offer back in 1967.
Striking double act
ANGE POSTECOGLOU has refused to rule out starting both Kyogo Furuhashi and Giorgos Giakoumakis against Rangers.
The Celtic boss has often played with just one central striker this season and has had to contend with both Giakoumakis and Kyogo being sidelined for significant spells.
However, ahead of the visit of Rangers to Parkhead on Sunday both players are fit and ready to play in the match.

THE PFA Scotland Manager of the Year shortlist has been confirmed with the Scottish Premiership, Championship and League One represented.
Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou joined Ross County boss Malky Mackay as the top-flight nominees in the four-man shortlist.
Legendary Arbroath manager Dick Campbell has been listed for his season in the Scottish Championship with the part-time side. The final nominee is Cove Rangers boss Paul Hartley.
