Insistent Inverness have pledged to get tough if Celtic supporters get their hands on tickets in the Caley Thistle end for next month’s Scottish Cup Final.
The Championship side have been handed an initial allocation of 10,000 and have made clear any resell or Parkhead followers gaining access will result in swift action from stewards within Hampden. Tickets are priced at priced £45 and £35 for adults, with concessions £25 and £20.
Caley Thistle supporters can purchase up eight per person and they have insisted in a no-nonsense statement they are only for followers of the Highanders. The club have said that anyone attempting to resell their tickets to ‘outside parties’ will have the briefs cancelled, and that any Celtic fans in the Inverness section will be ejected.
A Inverness statement read: “These tickets are strictly for ICTFC fans and anyone attempting to sell any tickets to outside parties will have ALL of the tickets they bought cancelled and rendered unusable on the day. Similarly, any non-ICTFC fans found in the Caley Thistle section of the stadium will be removed by stewards immediately.”
Celtic are set for a majority share of tickets for the Scottish Cup Final as punters aim to snap up the briefs that guarantees the chance to watch Ange Postecoglou's all–conquering side claim the Treble in person.
