CELTIC fans this afternoon hoisted ant-monarchy banners as a minute's applause was held to honour the Queen ahead of the clash against St Mirren.
Paisley clubs chiefs opted to hold a minute's applause in tribute to the Queen after she passed away last week.
As the minute's applause approached, a banner in the away end was displayed which read: "If you hate the Royal Family, clap your hands".
And chants with the same words could be heard from the away support during the minute's applause.
After the minute's applause, Sky Sports commentator Ian Crocker apologised to any viewers offended by anything they might have heard.
Addressing the chants, he said: "Apologies if you were offended by anything you might have heard.
"Most people showed respect, some did not."
