Celtic fans are set to face a travel conundrum trying to leave their home match with Aberdeen on Sunday afternoon after ScotRail confirmed there will be fewer trains for the journey home.
July 27 sees more railway strike action across Scotland and this won't impact Sunday's plans, instead 'staff shortages' cited as the reason for no transport back from Dalmarnock, the nearest station to Parkhead. Bridgeton is the second closest and has regular services to Glasgow post-match for the game that finishes around 18:15 after a 16:30 kick-off, but it's a 26-minute walk away. Bellgrove meanwhile is 28 minutes walking away and it will add delays to fans' journey.
Celtic SLO John Paul Taylor said: "Confirmation that we have been notified by that the last train from Dalmarnock Station departs at 18:13 on Sunday. This means there will be no service from this station after the match is finished and fans are advised to arrange alternative transport options at FT."

It means some fans will face having to decide whether or not to leave early on Sunday for an easier route home as Ange Postecoglou's side enjoy flag day in their Premiership curtain raiser versus Aberdeen.
One fan asked Scotrail 'Why not staff it the other way around, instead of ignoring the thousands who would benefit from manning Dalmarnock?' and another said 'if there’s overcrowding beyond normal expectations on buses etc then it’s a risk to the passengers.'
It's set to be an exciting term for the Hoops as Champions League group stage football returns to the east end of Glasgow.
