Ange Postecoglou heaped praise on Aaron Mooy and Daizen Maeda after star of the show performances at Easter Road.
The Australia international grabbed his first two goals for the club with his first a half-volley beyond David Marshall before he added a second from the penalty spot. Maeda also netted a stunner from range moments after missing a header from just three yards out. Kyogo Furuhashi rounded off the scoring with his 15th of the campaign to date in a very comfortable win. All focus now turns to Rangers at Ibrox next week with Celtic able to increase the gap to 12 points with a win.
Tonight's victory in the capital makes it 18 wins and just one defeat for the champions in the Premiership this season as they continue their relentless run of form. Postecoglou told Sky Sports: "Brilliant. He [Maeda] does that every week. I know sometimes people don't see the work he does for us and offers us in terms of energy and ability to cause opposition problems. He's been a bit unlucky on certain occasions with the end product but as you said he should have probably have scored the header.

"His contribution for the first goal and willingness to run at the opposition. What a cracking goal. It will be close to goal of the season that one.
"That's just him. I've known him for a little while now. He's got such a strong mindset. He will close people down and won't get any rewards but it won't stop him closing people down and that filters through to his football as well."
On Mooy, he added: "He was great. To be fair he has been knocking on the door to score a goal. He's been desperate and unlucky. He's been getting into those areas.
"I think for us, I said before the World Cup was a real positive experience for all our lads. You can see the benefits of that. Aaron has come back really strong as has Daizen. We haven't seen Jura [Juranovic] yet. All them players and Cam [Carter-Vickers] as well, it helps them with their believe. I think both Az and Daizen were both outstanding."
