Celtic centre-half Auston Trusty has lifted the lid on a potential move to Rangers a few years back that didn't go through.
The Ibrox side were linked with the American in the summer of 2023 when Michael Beale was at the helm.
A move never came to fruition, however, and now Trusty finds himself regularly turning out in the green and white of Celtic.
He has moulded into one of Brendan Rodgers' first-choice centre-halves alongside Cameron Carter-Vickers but could easily have been coming up against his fellow countryman had things panned out differently: "I do remember [the Rangers move]," he said.

Susan Egelstaff: Eddie Hearn says boxing isn't broken, but I'm not sure I believe him
"At the time, I was one of the best centre-backs in the Championship after a really good year at Birmingham.
"I had a lot of options thankfully and it was a really blessed position to be in. Rangers were interested and there were talks. But I wasn’t really engaged with that process and there were other teams interested as well.
"I am really happy with the way it worked out for me on this side of Glasgow and this team. It all worked out in my favour."
Trusty joined Celtic on deadline day last summer from Sheffield United for £6m.
The 26-year-old has made 34 appearances for the Parkhead side since, proving a reliable performer at the back.
He has enjoyed moulding into the squad, and he welcomed the return of flamboyant Portuguese winger Jota in January: "The first thing for me is Jota is a great guy, really approachable and likeable," he said.
"As a player, he’s fantastic. He has been great for us since coming back.
"He obviously has experience at the club and in big matches such as this fixture. It was before my time but I know he’s such an important player."
