Celtic debut lesser-spotted kit against Aston Villa

Celtic will debut their third kit for the 2024/25 season against Aston Villa this evening.

The Parkhead side are in Birmingham for matchday eight of the UEFA Champions League league phase.

A 1-0 win over BSC Young Boys last time out ensured Brendan Rodgers' men were safe of a spot in the competition's knockout stages going into this evening's Battle of Britain.

Loris Benito's late own goal, forced by Adam Idah, proved the difference between the sides.

This evening, the step up in opposition for Celtic is vast, with the Scottish Premiership champions up against one of the strongest English sides in their own backyard.

To mark the close of the initial stage of the Champions League and the stature of the match, Celtic have decided to wear their third kit for the first time this season:

The camo shirt, which has yet to be worn in 2024/25, has been handed an unexpected debut tonight.

Rodgers and Co. will be hoping it provides them with some good fortune as they look to end the league phase on a high.
