Celtic have released a statement to clear up confusing reports regarding the club's ongoing situation with UEFA this afternoon.
Earlier today, claims emerged online - in multiple media outlets - suggesting that Celtic would face no ban for away fans ahead of the play-off round tie against Bayern Munich.
Contrary to those reports, it's understood Celtic are still awaiting a decision from UEFA regarding away fan attendance for the Champions League match against Bayern.
While the Scottish Premiership club remains hopeful of escaping punishment, nothing has been decided yet over whether a one-match ban on away fans will be imposed on the club.

It follows last week's midweek clash against Aston Villa, where a flare was thrown onto the pitch from the away end.
The club was served with a notice of complaint by UEFA over the matter.
A club statement reads: "Please note, contrary to media reports regarding Celtic’s forthcoming match against Bayern Munich in Germany, Celtic Football Club has not as yet been informed of any timescale with regards to a decision being made on away tickets."
It is not yet known when Celtic's UEFA hearing will take place.
