Oxford United are pursuing a loan deal for Celtic's Maik Nawrocki, according to a report.
The Championship club aims to strengthen their defense as they work towards securing their place in the league. The Daily Record claim manager Gary Rowett has been informed about the 23-year-old Polish defender by the scouting team.
Nawrocki, currently behind Cameron Carter-Vickers, Auston Trusty, and Liam Scales in the Celtic lineup, is eager to explore the possibility of a move.

Celtic recently permitted Stephen Welsh to join KV Mechelen on loan, and it’s uncertain whether manager Brendan Rodgers intends to retain Nawrocki for depth, especially after recalling Dane Murray from his loan at Queen’s Park.
Nawrocki, who joined Celtic from Legia Warsaw for £4.3m in 2023, has struggled to establish a regular starting position with the team.
