David Turnbull is nearing a return from injury at Celtic and could be training soon, according to Hoops boss Ange Postecoglou.
The Scotland international from Wishaw has not played for the Hoops in 2022 after an injury in last December's League Cup final with Hibs.
His hamstring injury has proven problematic but now a return is said to be not too far away.
Turnbull, if fit, will be in the running for Scotland head coach Steve Clarke's squad for the crucial World Cup 2022 play-off's next month.
Postecoglou has delivered a short update on when the Wishaw star can be expected back. He has five goals and four assists in the Premiership this season.
The Australian boss said: "Turnbull is almost back training."
