Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou headlines Manager of the Year shortlist

The nominees for the PFA Manager of the Year have been announced.

The four-man shortlist has been confirmed this morning, as voted for by their fellow managers in Scotland.

There is little surprise as Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou is included, with his side potentially on course to complete a domestic treble this season.

The Hoops have suffered only one defeat in Scottish football this season, as well as only two draws on their way to the Premiership crown.

League rival Stephen Robinson is also on the list after he guided St Mirren to their first ever top-six finish.

From the lower divisions, James McPake of Dunfermline has been nominated after his side suffered just one defeat on their way to romping the League One title.

And Darren Young of Stirling Albion has also been put forward for the award.

The winner of the accolade will be announced at Sunday's annual PFA dinner.

Celtic dominates the Player and Young Player of the Year proceedings.

On the former, Callum McGregor, Reo Hatate, and Kyogo have been shortlisted. Kevin van Veen of Motherwell joins them.

For young player, Liel Abada and Matt O'Riley are joined alongside Albion Rovers starlet Charlie Reilly.

The Premiership team of the year follows a similar pattern, with the Scottish champions commandeering seven of the best XI.

Joe Hart has been selected as the goalkeeper, with Rangers captain James Tavernier at right back, followed by Cameron Carter-Vickers, Carl Starfelt and Greg Taylor in defence.

Midfield is made up on Malik Tillman, Callum McGregor and Reo Hatate.

And in the forward areas Aberdeen star Duk, Kyogo and Van Veen complete the team.
