Celtic B have been ranked above Rangers in transfer profits this season, according to new statistics.
Transfermarkt.co.uk reports that the Parkhead reserves side earned more money from player sales this term than the Rangers first-team.
A report from the German statistics site cited "failing in the transfer market" as a reason for Scottish football falling behind in Europe.

Figures revealed the Scottish Premiership as a collective has earned €407m from player sales in the last 10 seasons.
The total puts Scotland 23rd in a list of the European leagues for player sales and behind the likes of the 2. Bundesliga, Ligue 2, the Premier Liga and Jupiler Pro League.
However, Celtic have enjoyed success in the market with recent marquee sales of Kieran Tierney, Jota and Matt O'Riley. Celtic makeup 78 per cent of the league's total income from player sales this season alone.

This term, Celtic have earned €56.2m from transfer sales. Comparatively, Rangers have earned just €2.95m, according to the data.
In fact, Transfermarkt report that Celtic B actually banked more money from player sales than Rangers so far this season.
The Celtic youth side have earned €3.09m from player sales with Bosun Lawal, Rocco Vata and Daniel Kelly all moving on from Lennoxtown this season.
Aberdeen sit second in the income from player sales table with €6.5m, with Celtic Reserves third, Rangers fourth and Hearts fifth on €2.3m.
