Kerr McInroy's loan move to Ayr United from Celtic has been confirmed after his form at Airdrie.
The midfielder joined the Diamonds in October and notched four goals and three assists in an impressive 13-game spell.
He returned to Celtic earlier this month but has now decided his future after pondering his next move over the last few weeks.
Airdrie boss Ian Murray was keen to bring him back to League One but McInroy will instead play with Lee Bullen's Championship Ayr side until the summer.
His contract at Celtic expires at the end of the season and his long-term future is not likely to be in Hoops.
An Ayr statement reads: "The club are delighted to announce that Kerr McInroy has joined on loan from Celtic until the end of the season.
"The 21-year old midfielder spent the first half of this season on loan at Airdrieonians where he chipped in with 4 goals in 13 appearances.
"Welcome to Somerset Park, Kerr!"
