Celtic announce return of 'beloved yellow jersey' as away kit leaks confirmed

Celtic have unveiled their away kit for the 2024/25 Scottish Premiership season with the return of the "beloved yellow jersey".

The Parkhead club have confirmed their new kit for away matches with a base yellow shirt featuring green horizontal hoops.

The new strip also features a "bold clover crest" in place of the Celtic badge.

Celtic's away strip will have green shorts with yellow socks featuring green accents.

The kit - priced at £70 for an adult size shirt - is available for pre-order now before being released on July 30.

Leaks had uncovered the new strip in shops earlier this month with the yellow shirt visible in an adidas store.

"Finished with subtle green horizontal hoops as well as a bold clover crest for a stand-out new look, the kit is available to pre-order now before going on sale on July 30.

"Featuring adidas’ AEROREADY technology to control moisture, the jersey is perfect for wearing while playing or supporting the club.

"The kit is completed by green shorts and yellow socks with green details, creating a stylish look that we can’t wait to see worn by the Bhoys, and you! Show your support on and off the pitch as the Hoops gear up for the start of the 2024/25 campaign.

"Pre-season is now well underway, with the Hoops taking on Manchester City and Chelsea in the USA this week, and Celtic TV subscribers can watch the matches live!

"The team will return to Celtic Park for the first game of the season on August 4, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Paradise as the Champions set out to retain their title once again.
