Celtic have joined Rangers in signing up for a partnership with EA Sports - but whether their incoming homes feature in the game remains a mystery.
The Hoops have announced EA have become the exclusive official football videogame partner ahead of the yearly release of their household FIFA series, FIFA 23. Throughout their new four-year partnership, it will see the club and EA working closely to create fan forward content together in the future.
Celtic Park and Ibrox had previously featured in PES and eFootball 2022 after the Glasgow clubs collaborated with Konami. Rangers announced a similar partnership on Tuesday night, which initially stated their stadium would be in the game. Commercial and marketing director James Bisgrove had said: “The 3D head scans of the first team and of Ibrox are set to take place in the coming weeks, and we can’t wait to see these launched in a future release of EA SPORTS FIFA 23."

His comments have since been removed from the Rangers website and any posts from the club's official social channels stating that Ibrox would be a playable stadium. The game is set to hit shelves on September 30.
Celtic meanwhile avoided any mention of Parkhead being in the game from launch day later next month. Commercial Director Adrian Filby said: “We are delighted to announce this fantastic long-term partnership with EA SPORTS, the leading organisation in its field.
“Celtic’s reach is truly global, and we are pleased to be partnering with an organisation of such profile and quality, known globally as a true market leader."
