Stephen Robinson says Ethan Erhahon could star at either Celtic or Rangers after another strong showing from the versatile midfielder.
The Scotland youth international impressed during the Buddies 1-1 draw with the Light Blues. Jonah Ayunga put the home side in Paisley ahead and James Tavernier's levelling penalty did little to quell anger within Rangers fans, manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst now under serious pressure after falling nine points behind Celtic in the title race.
It shows how far top six-pushing Saints have come that they are disappointed to have not taken all three points from this according to Robinson, who has hailed many of his St Mirren stars, including a big billing for Erhahon. He said: "My big thing when you play the Old Firm is can you keep the ball when you land on it? And we did. Erhahon should be playing for Rangers or Celtic, the boy is a player.

"Ayunga? Shhhh. I don't want to lose them all! Listen, our recruitment has been good. Jonah has scored against Rangers and Celtic now and he and Curtis Main were a real handful up front.
"Mark O'Hara has been terrific and that's why I made him the captain." That we're disappointed not to win shows how far we've come. I couldn't be more proud.
"We fight the odds and they're the best players I've ever worked with. I couldn't see Rangers scoring today. We showed real belief that we weren't going to be broken down."
