Celtic and Rangers will find out next month whether their 'B' teams will compete in the Lowland League next season.
Both Glasgow clubs controversially entered the league this season after member clubs voted in favour of the decision on a one-season basis.
The pair broke the Lowland League 's attendance record earlier this month they Rangers swept aside Celtic 3-0 at Ibrox.
Sitting fourth and third respectively, plans to bring them back into fifth-tier action for next will go to a vote between clubs next month.
It met strong opposition last year after it was reported both teams paid £25,000 for access. Bonnyrigg Rose won the title this year and will contest a League Two play-off this year.
They confirmed in a statement: "At the last general meeting of the SLFL, all existing member clubs have been asked to consider whether we want to continue with the principle of B teams in the league.
"A general meeting will be held virtually on April 4th at which a vote will be taken.
"If clubs vote in favour of continuing with guest clubs it will then be for the board to review the terms and conditions and make any necessary arrangements.
"As we did last year we are giving our members, which constitute our season ticket holders, sponsors, committee and life members to chance to share their views on the proposal.
"We are a supporters club so as with most decisions of this magnitude we will leave it up to our members to decide in order to make sure that the decision we make is representative of our fan base, rather than the opinions of a few."
Bonnyrigg added: "Closing date for supporter votes/comments back to us is Sunday April 3rd at 18:00.
"This will allow us some time to react to either the acceptance or rejection of the proposal by our members and we will use that mandate at the general meeting the following day."
