Celebs taking on Elf On The Shelf from Kim Kardashian to Stacey Solomon and the Beckhams

It's the beginning of December and that means one thing for a lot of excited little ones - the Elf On The Shelf is back.

Love him or hate him - it's not just everyday families getting behind the new Christmas trend, celebrities have been showing off their creative elf stunts too.

The fun game has become a popular tradition in the homes of many families with children over the holiday season, and some of our favourite A-listers have been sharing their own elf creations - and some are truly unique.

Stars including Stacey Solomon, Frankie Bridge, the Beckhams and Kim Kardashian have all joined in the festive fun with their mischievous house guest.

The Beckhams have been known to embrace the elf on the shelf spirit in the past, even going head to head in competitions for the most creative ideas.

From creative displays to hanging from light fixtures, the Beckhams have delighted daughter Harper with their cheeky elf antics.

Whilst the iconic duo haven't shared any Elf displays for Christmas 2022, they have been getting into the Christmas spirit already - with David showing off his vocal talents to Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas'.

On her Instagram stories she showed off a daring display with a firefighting elf suspended in the air for son Psalm, this was followed by an elf playing with makeup for daughter Chicago, a basketball themed display for North and finally a candy themed entry for Saint.

It isn't just fun and sweets though, mum of four Kim has also shown off that her elf houseguest has already been getting up to cheeky tricks and hiding in corners of her mansion.

Boy mum Frankie Bridge has been a woman after our own hearts and been honest about the palaver that Elf On The Shelf can bring.

After all, it's hard work finding a new display or position for the cheeky guest every day in December.

On her Instagram, mum Frankie told followers: "This absolute pain in the a*** is back..."

She then admitted she and husband Wayne forgot about the December elf tradition and hurriedly found a spot for theirs for sons Parker and Carter, who found their elf clutching a candle near the fireplace.

McFly star Tom Fletcher and his wife Giovanna Fletcher are regulars for getting involved with the Christmas fun, especially the Elf On The Shelf.

Delighting sons Max, Buzz and Buddy, Giovanna has offered some helpful advice for other parents getting involved with the elf fun.

She recommended waiting till the kids are older before going too crazy. In a previous interview, the mum of three said: "Save all the creativity until they can really appreciate it.

"I think we have to up our game next year. At the moment the boys are so young they just like seeing him in different places."
