Celebs Go Dating 'in chaos' as star cast's luxury Mediterranean trip 'cancelled'

Celebs Go Dating is said to be ‘in chaos’ after a luxury trip for the E4 reality dating show was cancelled at the eleventh hour.

A planned luxury trip to Greece has reportedly been ditched, halting E4 stars including Gary Lucy and Sinitta from jetting off next week.

The shake-up is said to be due to issues with working visas, curtailing the Mediterranean jolly after the Celebs Go Dating's production team worked around the clock to organise the trip.

It is understood the cast will now fly off to Cyprus instead, as a source told The Sun : “The stars were due to be flying off to Greece next week for the trip.

"But at the last moment it was called off because of issues with work visas and the amount of time it was going to take to have them processed.

"There was no way the show could go ahead without the trip abroad so the team worked tirelessly to make it happen.

"This series of Celebs Go Dating has gone off without a hitch so there was no way they were letting the visa issues stop them.

"Instead the stars will be flown out for filming in Cyprus now. It is going to be really special.”

This year’s line-up also includes celebrities such as Pete Wicks and Laura Anderson as well as Tinder Swindler star Cecille Fjellhoy.

Love Island star Laura booked her stint on the popular dating show after she split from long-term partner Dane Bowers.

The reality TV star, who rose to fame on the ITV2 dating show in 2018, announced their shock split in a statement which said they are ‘just not right for each other,’ though she wishes him ‘nothing but love’.

Their split was further addressed by Laura on the red carpet of our People's Pet Awards, where she teased her appearance on E4's Celebs Go Dating.

Asked how she feels after the split, she said: "I'm good. Just being positive. Moving forward with life, you've got to. Happy to be back in the UK and just working. I feel really good."

Laura, who attended the event with her dog Buddy, teased that she has a few projects in the works after having moved back to the UK following her separation from her ex Dane.

"We've got a few things in the pipeline, that you probably already know [about] but I can't really say," she said with a laugh, seemingly teasing over the Celebs Go Dating rumour.

She continued: "[There are] a few other things. A lot to look forward to. I'm glad to be back in the UK in general and be in Scotland, so maybe some exciting things there."
