X Factor may not be airing this year but Simon Cowell has the perfect replacement planned - a Celebrity X Factor.
A Battle of the Stars version of the show previously aired 13 years ago and saw the likes of Gillian McKeith, Chris Moyles and glamour model Michelle Marsh taking part.
Lucy Benjamin, who plays Lisa Fowler in EastEnders, was mentored by Louis Walsh and ended up winning the programme.
Now a new version of the series is set to return, with a range of contestants including sports stars, reality tv personalities and actors.
Here's everything you need to know ahead of the show's return next month...
What is Celebrity X Factor all about?
A trailer for the show explains that the format is very similar to Cowell’s original programme.
The tropical-looking location in the trailer is California, where the audition stages have already been filmed. Exactly what happens afterwards has not been revealed – but Cowell says the show will be “something different” while Louis Walsh promises “absolute carnage.”
Who is judging the show?
The promotional video reveals X Factor originals Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell will be judging the contestants, as well as fan favourite Nicole Scherzinger. Dermot O’Leary will be hosting the show.
