Celebrity Thanksgiving recipes - from Snoop Dog's gravy to Kris Jenner's soufflé

Many people will often celebrate Thanksgiving surrounded by their close friends and family as they undergo special traditions for the big day. Arguably, the most important part of the whole holiday that everyone looks forward to most is the feast.

Thanksgiving food can make or break the celebratory occasions, whether families follow long-running recipes that have been passed down through generations or they're brave enough to cook up something new.

The brave festive goers - who are looking for a challenge this festive day - may think of testing a new recipe. And why not try something this year that is celebrity -approved?

Festive goers can enjoy turkey inspired by one of the most recognisable rappers of all time - none other than Snoop Dogg himself.

Otherwise, if people are fancying a lighter selection of cuisine for the holidays they can enjoy a series of recipes from celebrity chef royalty Gordon Ramsay.

And if that wasn't up to your standard, Kris Jenner 's Sweet Potato Souffllé will have your tastebuds tingling. Alternatively, you can try Kourtney Kardashian 's dairy-free alternative to the recipe.

Gordon Ramsay's Roasted Cauliflower, Quinoa, and Pomegranate Salad

Why not create a Thanksgiving dish to impress your guests that's shared by chef royalty?

While Gordon Ramsay is known for his vast collection of culinary dishes, his Roasted Cauliflower, Quinoa, and Pomegranate Salad hits the spot perfectly on Thanksgiving and is the ideal lighter option on the food orientated day.

Speaking with Us Weekly, the television star said: "Roasting brassicas like cauliflower, broccoli, kale and cabbage intensifies the flavour and they become sweet and almost caramelised around the edges.

"Cooking cauliflower this way and tossing it in this sharp pomegranate molasses dressing might just convert a few cauliflower haters to the cause."

The Ramsay-family dish serves four and takes just 20 minutes in the oven.

Before we tuck into a large feast for dinner, a small and tasteful starting dish can help prep the tastebuds for the abundance of food that's coming.

Sharing her Cranberry Chutney recipe, Gwyneth Paltrow has crafted the perfect fruit blend dish for her Thanksgiving table - and better yet, it has a handful of health benefits as well.

In her Goop Newsletter, Gwyneth said: "Cranberries are full of antioxidants and their recognizably tart flavour is a must at any Thanksgiving table,"

"Luckily, making chutney couldn't be easier and you can make it up to a week in advance."

Rapper Snoop Dogg is a man of many talents and is arguably the most recognisable rapper of all time.

It's no surprise that the performer knows a thing or two about the kitchen following his stint with Just Eat and his catchy phrase that's embedded into everyone's brains.

Having realised his own cookbook and culinary show, the award-winning artist has crafted an iconic recipe, serving up to 12, that will act as an ideal centrepiece dish for your Thanksgiving.

While Snoop's Turkey and Gravy recipe has a pre-time of just 20 minutes, the overall dish time can take over 24 hours to cook up a storm.

Kris Jenner's Sweet Potato Soufflé

Not only does the mum-of six know a thing or two about money moves in the business world, having created an empire for the Kardashian and Jenner name, but it happens that Kris Jenner knows a thing or two about cooking too.

Kris' Sweet Potato Soufflé is a popular occurrence in the famous family's household and acts as a sweet treat for Thanksgiving dessert after a savoury dinner.

Kris' daughter Kourtney Kardashian even put a healthy spin on the dessert, having shared how she can make her mum's recipe tasty free.

"Dessert doesn't have to be the only sweet dish at your Thanksgiving table this year," Kourtney told People.

"Made with coconut milk and brown sugar, my dairy-free version of my mom's sweet potato soufflé is the perfect balance to the classic savoury sides."

Chrissy Teigen's Scallop Potatoes

It's very common to spot potatoes on your Thanksgiving table for the celebrations, but there's a debate on the best way to cook them.

Thankfully, model Chrissy Teigen has cooked up the perfect recipe for Scalloped Potatoes which is bound to make it onto your plate for the special day.

Her self-proclaimed "euphoric" dish creates as many as 20 servings and can be cooked up within three hours.

Chrissy confessed that the recipe instantly boosts her spirits, saying: "Whenever I need any sort of comfort, I'll ask my mom to make her Scalloped Potatoes - I don't care what has happened that day, one bite and I'm happy again."
