Celebrity MasterChef is back for another series on the BBC and once again there was a number of culinary nightmares and a few tip top dishes that got judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode salivating.
First up were former Love Island star Faye Winter, children's TV comedian Paul Chuckle, McFly and The Voice judge Danny Jones, comedian Kae Kurd and media personality Nancy Dell’Olio.
After sweating it out in the Masterchef kitchen to produce a number of dishes, Gregg and John delivered bad news to Nancy as they told them that they had fallen at the first hurdle.
"Love you heels, love your style," said John and Gregg but it seems they were not over enamoured with her cooking skills.
The wannabe chefs had to create a dish from a surprise ingredient before recreating a Korean street food chicken dish from just taste and smell alone.
Danny Jones impressed the judges with his fish dish while Paul Chuckle showed he could rustle up a mean mushroom soup.
Kae made a bit of a dog's dinner of his first plate of food but redeemed himself by almost creating "perfect" Korean chicken wings.
Faye had showed that she was a dab hand in the first two challenges while Nancy was maybe not sticking to the recipe.
They all had one last chance to impress when the celebs got to cook their 'signature' dishes.
Gregg and John enthused about Danny's Wagyu steak while Nancy's Italian aubergine dish was not quite hitting the spot as the judge's complained that it wasn't completely cooked.
Chuckle brother Paul wowed with his salmon wellington and Faye impressed with her New York cookies with clotted cream ice cream.
Viewers were quick to praise the judges for sending home the celeb who was clearly the worst of the bunch.
For some it was clear from the off that Nancy would be the one not making it through.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: "I think we all knew Nancy was going to be first out 59 minutes ago #CelebrityMasterChef "
Another wondered how much cooking Nancy has done, tweeting: "Bye Nancy I doubt you have cooked in a long time #CelebrityMasterChef "
While a third was damning in their assessment, writing: " #CelebrityMasterChef Nancy has been on a few of these celeb shows. And it's obvious she's hopeless at everything - bar pouting."
Four becomes three on Thursday as the remaining celebs battle for a place in the quarter finals.
