Celebrity MasterChef 2019 cast: Meet the star-studded line up, from Love Island’s Dr Alex George to Strictly’s Oti Mabuse

Celebrity MasterChef returns to our screens tonight for another season, with 20 famous hoping to impress with their culinary skills.

This year’s star-studded line-up includes Love Island alumni Alex George, TOWIE star Joey Essex and Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison.

The stars will be put through their paces by John Torode and Gregg Wallace over the course of the six week series, with challenges that will see contestants cook for diners at London Zoo and attempt to win over past winners with their culinary creations.

“This Celebrity MasterChef has all of the right ingredients for a series full of entertainment, pressure and fun,” BBC commissioning editor Carla-Maria Lawson said.

“We have a brilliant variety of different characters and there will be some surprises along the way as they are put through their paces.”

The Celebrity MasterChef trophy has previously been won by former Pussycat Doll Kimberley Wyatt, actor and comedian Adrian Edmonson and actress Lisa Faulkner.
