Celebrity Hunted’s Chloe Veitch undergoes urgent surgery after 'digit' disaster

Celebrity Hunted’s Chloe Veitch has undergone the first of two surgeries after suffering a broken finger during a fall when filming the show.

Viewers of the Channel 4 show watched as Netflix star Chloe Veitch and Drag Race winner The Vivienne trying to evade capture for 14 days - along with a host of other famous faces for the SU2C fundraiser.

The pair had travelled the country and camped out in rural spots before heading to bright lights of Leeds gay night club and enlisting Viv's drag queen pals to distract the hunky Hunters as they made their escape.

But when rushing away from The Hunters Chloe took a tumble on the cobbles before picking herself up and getting into a waiting car.

She fought back tears as she sobbed:'' I broke my finger, it just snapped. I need to get to a hospital now."

Chloe bravely carried on filming the show but was forced to head to hospital and spent the night in a hotel to recover before battling on.

Luckily, the setback didn't prevent Chloe and her partner from losing their place in the challenge as they travelled to their extraction point at Formby beach - only to be picked up in a car park by The Hunters after a pit stop for supplies.

Since leaving the show, Chloe has updated fans that she's undergone surgery six weeks after the slip up as she thought it would heal.

Unfortunately when surgeons took a closer look the bone had healed to the tendon so she's now undergone the first of two surgeries to reset the break.

She told The Sun: "The surgeon said he’d never seen a finger like it."

"I had a X Ray the other day and the bones healed okay but unfortunately the tendons have fused to the bone which means my finger will be deformed," she said.

"It will need another surgery but I’m not in a rush to go under again.''

But making light of her tough time she added: "It just means I have to get people to open my car doors for me.

"A proper diva in the making right?"

Meanwhile Chloe is proving her star quality after first hitting our screens in 2020 as part of the cast of Netflix dating series Too Hot To Handle, alongside Francesca Farago, Harry Jowsey and Nicole O’Brien.

She has since popped up in season two of The Circle US, which aired on Netflix.
