Celebrity Gogglebox line-up as Netflix stars Heartstopper join Channel 4 show

Channel 4 has announced that the cast of Heartstopper will feature on Friday's, July 1 edition of Celebrity Gogglebox. Stars of the Netflix hit - Kit Connor, Joe Locke, Yasmin Finney and William Gao - have joined the show. The episode will celebrate Pride.

The young actors, who played Nick, Charlie, Elle and Tao respectively, will appear on the show as part of its Pride Special, which also features Tia Kofi and Lawrence Chaney from RuPaul's Drag Race UK, Strictly Come Dancing's John Whaite and Johannes Radebe, and Ian 'H' Watkins, Claire Richards and Faye Tozer from Steps. Television host Anna Richardson and comedians Mae Martin & Lolly Adefope will also feature.

The special episode forms part of Channel 4's Pride schedule, which has also included a Naked Attraction special and Joe Lycett's Big Pride Party, which airs on Sunday, July 3. Channel 4 says that the season of programming "will reflect on the incredible achievements and challenges of advancing LGBTQ+ rights and visibility over the last half century, while also platforming the diversity of identity and sexuality in the 2020s".

Here is the full line-up for the latest series of Gogglebox:

Nick Grimshaw and Liv Grimshaw

Former BBC Radio One DJ Nick Grimshaw and his niece Liv Grimshaw are back. Nick is now a TV presenter, having left Radio One in August 2021 and Liv is believed to be an assistant in merchandise for the online fashion brand PrettyLittleThing.

Big Zuu, Tubsey, and Hyder

Best friends Big Zuu, Tubsey, and Hyder are making their Celebrity Gogglebox debut for the new series. All three shot to fame on the Dave comedy show 'Big Zuu's Big Eats' where they cooked dishes for famous comedians including Jimmy Carr and Judi Love.

Big Zuu is currently guiding ten chefs hoping to make it in the culinary world on the new BBC Three show Hungry For It. You can read everything you need to know about the show here.

Rylan and Linda Clark

Making his return to TV is Rylan who will be back on the sofa with his mum Linda Clark. The pair did not appear in the last series of Celebrity Gogglebox as Linda was struggling with her Crohn's disease.

Fearne Cotton and Gok Wan

Fearne Cotton and Gok Wan are joining the show (Channel 4)

New to Celebrity Gogglebox is presenter Fearne Cotton and fashion guru and presenter Gok Wan. Recently Gok Wan has had his own TV show Gok Wan's Easy Asian and often appears on This Morning.

Fearne has presented Interior Design Masters and is known for appearing on Celebrity Juice alongside Keith Lemon and Holly Willoughby.

Babatunde Aleshe and Mo Gilligan

Comedians Mo Gilligan and Babatunde Aleshe will be back on the sofa for Celebrity Gogglebox. Babatunde has starred in New Tricks and Walking the Dead.

Mo Gilligan is a judge on the hit ITV show The Masked Singer and has his own Channel 4 show The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan.

Bill Bailey and Oti Mabuse

Former Strictly Come Dancing partners Bill Bailey and Oti Mabuse are swapping the dancefloor for the sofa. Oti and Bill won Strictly Come Dancing in 2020 and have remained firm friends ever since.

Oti has since left Strictly Come Dancing and presents Romeo and Duet on ITV, which has not been well received by viewers. Bill has continued his career in comedy.

Paul Sinha and Olly Levy

The Chase's Paul Sinha deserves a break. He's answered a ridiculous amount of questions on the ITV quiz show since he joined in 2011. In Friday's, July 1 Celebrity Gogglebox, he finally gets that chance to relax as he sits down and watches some telly with husband, Olly Levy.

Denise van Outen and Duncan James

Denise van Outen is back on the sofa with a new face, Duncan James. Denise, a TV presenter, and TV personality took part in both The Circle and Dancing on Ice in 2020.

Duncan is a member of the boyband Blue and took part in Celebrity Masterchef in 2020.

Kit Connor, Joe Locke, Yasmin Finney and William Gao

The cast of Heartstopper will feature on Celebrity Gogglebox's special Pride edition of the show. Among the shows the “Heartstopper” cast will be watching are “Big Boys,” “Glastonbury” coverage, “This is My House” and “Scream,” according to reports.

Melanie C and Paul

Sporty Spice Melanie C and her brother Paul are back on Gogglebox. Melanie had a very successful pop career as part of the girl band the Spice Girls and Paul is a race car commentator.

Sam Ryder and Scott Mills

Sam Ryder shot to fame on Eurovision (Channel 4)

2022 British Eurovision runner-up Sam Ryder is teaming up with radio presenter Scott Mills. Scott is best known for presenting his BBC Radio One radio show and Sam shot to fame when he came second in Eurovision in 2022 for the UK with the song Space Man.

Ian “H” Watkins, Claire Richards and Faye Tozer

It would have been a 'tragedy' if the Steps members didn't join Gogglebox at some point (Channel 4)

Also new to Celebrity Gogglebox are members of the group, Steps. Ian, Claire and Faye from the group will take to the sofa to take part in the special Pride edition of the show. Steps originally broke up in 2001 but much to fans delight, reformed in 2011. They are perhaps best known for their songs, 'Tragedy' and '5678'.

John Whaite and Johannes Radebe

John and Johannes made history by becoming the first same-sex couple on Strictly Come Dancing in 2021. The dancing pair now join Celebrity Gogglebox during the Pride episode. Both have remained good friends since Strictly ended with them being runner-ups.

Laurence Chaney and Tia Kofi

For Laurence and Tia, it's time to take off the makeup and relax as they also join Celebrity Gogglebox. The pair found fame on season 2 of RuPaul's Drag Race UK. Both Tia and Laurence, the latter of which won the series, have made numerous TV appearances since their time on the series.

Kate and Helen Richardson-Walsh

Olympic Gold and Bronze medalists, Kate and Helen Richardson-Walsh snuggle up and watch some of the week's best telly. The pair, who have been married since 2013, became the first same-sex married couple to win Olympic gold as part of the same team in the 2016 Olympics.

Craig Revel Horwood and Ben Goddard

Strictly's Craig joins singer/songwriter and friend Ben Goddard in the Pride edition of Celebrity Gogglebox. Following their casting, the official Gogglebox Instagram simply said: "FAB-U-LOUS," echoing Craig's signature Strictly catchphrase.

Anna Richardson and Charles Martin

Anna Richardson is no stranger to being shocked by what she sees on television, having been the host of Naked Attraction since 2016 and now, she joins TV director, Charles Martin on the Celebrity Gogglebox sofa.

Lolly Adefope and Mae Martin

Comedians and friends, Lolly Adefope and Mae Martin will be taking a pew to enjoy some of this week's best TV. Upon the announcement of their casting, Mae said: "Neither Lolly or I are responsible for anything we said during this recording. I have very little memory of it."

Self Esteem and Bimini

Another alumni of Drag Race UK season 2, Bimini joins singer, Self Esteem, on the Gogglebox sofa. Bimini said on their Instagram that they had a "HOOT of a time" on the show.

Guz Khan and Jamali Maddix

Comedians Guz Khan and Jamali Maddix will be making their Gogglebox debut. Guz is best known as a stand-up comedian and for Man Like Mobeen. Jamali has taken part in Taskmaster and often appears on Never Mid the Buzzcocks.

Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards

Former footballers Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards are back on the sofa. Jamie famously played for Liverpool, while Micah played for Manchester City, and both are now pundits.

Martin Kemp and Roman Kemp

Father and son duo Martin Kemp and Roman Kemp are returning to Gogglebox. Pop star Martin is best known for being in the 1980s band Spandau Ballet. Roman has had a successful career as a radio presenter on Capital Radio.

Gyles Brandreth and Dame Joanna Lumley

Gyles and Joanna are a new duo on the show (Channel 4)

Gracing the Gogglebox screens for the first time is Gyles Brandreth and Dame Joanna Lumley. Author and presenter Gyles is known for chatting to listeners and giving advice on This Morning and Joanna is an actress and documentary presenter.

Judi Love and Charlene White

Loose Women Judi Love and Charlene White will be back on Gogglebox. Both appear on the ITV chat show Loose Women, Judi is also a comedian and Charlene formerly presented ITV news.

Bez and Shaun Ryder

Singer-song writer Shaun Ryder and DJ Bez are back for Celebrity Gogglebox. Both were members of the rock band Happy Monday and Bez has taken part in Dancing on Ice while Shaun has entered the jungle in I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash

Returning to the sofa are TV personalities Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash. Both have taken part in I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here and have been together since 2015. Stacey has recently admitted her anxiety is "through the roof" over Joe's stag weekend, as the pair are set to get married soon.

Johnny Ball, Zoe Ball, and Woody Cook

Joining his famous daughter, Zoe Ball, and her son, Woody Cook, is Johnny Ball. Johnny presented children's television during the 1970s and 1980s, Zoe is a famous radio presenter, who has been visiting Wales to film a new secret project, and Woody will be performing at Glastonbury.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Janet Ellis

Starring in celebrity Gogglebox for the first time is singer-songwriter Sophie Ellis-Bextor and her mum Janet Ellis. Sophie is best known for her single Murder On The Dancefloor and Janet is an author.

Fruitcake and Fred Sirieix

Fred and Fruitcake have joined Celebrity Gogglebox (Channel 4)

Celebrity chef Fred Sirieix and his fiancee Fruitcake will be joining the show. Fred is the host of Channel 4's First Dates and also has his own series with fellow celebrity chefs Gino D'Acampo and Gordon Ramsay. The couple keep their relationship fairly private and this is Fruitcake's first time appearing alongside him.

Lorraine Kelly and Rosie Kelly

TV presenter Lorraine Kelly and her daughter Rosie Kelly are back on Celebrity Gogglebox. Lorraine has her own ITV chat show and the mother and daughter duo also have a podcast together called What If?

Carol Vorderman and Gyles Brandreth

Replacing Joanna Lumley for some episodes is Welsh star Carol Vorderman who will be joining Gyle Brandreth. Carol shot to fame when appearing on Countdown and is now a well-known TV personality.

Celebrity Gogglebox's Pride Special airs on Friday, July 1 at 9pm on Channel 4.
