Popstar Tom Grennan teased last week there will be controversial moments as he geared up to join the latest series of Celebrity Gogglebox.
The Lionheart hitmaker, 28, has signed up to the hit Channel 4 show alongside his loveable dad, Martin.
The father and son duo made their first onscreen appearance on tonight alongside celeb favourites Rylan Clark and his mum Linda and Shaun Ryder and his Happy Mondays bandmate Bez - and everyone is saying the same thing about Tom's Irish dad, Martin.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror last week, Tom said that he hoped appearing on the programme will give fans a glimpse into his 'real side', but he admitted that he was a little bit fearful of his dad's foul mouth.
Despite his reservations about his dad's bad language, Celebrity Googlebox viewers instantly fell in love with Martin as he made his debut on the Channel 4 show tonight.
Not only did they love his cheeky references to the week's most dramatic TV moments, they also gushed over his comforting accent as many took to Twitter to insist 'they could listen to Martin talk forever'.
When asked what viewers can expect from the pair, Tom told The Mirror at Capital presents Summertime Ball with Barclaycard: "Very funny TV, I think my dad is ready to become a national treasure and I think in his own right, he already is one.
"I think you will get a real side of what me and my dad are like whilst watching TV. We will see what happens."
In response to if fans can expect any controversial comments, he replied: "Probably".
"My dad, the language more than anything," the singer added. "He is the most Irish man ever. Every other word is the C-word."
Other new faces appearing on the fifth series of Celebrity Gogglebox include Davina McCall with her celebrity hairstylist boyfriend Michael Douglas.
She is joined by fellow first-timers comedian Katherine Ryan and her husband Bobby plus BBC naturalist Chris Packham with his conservationist step-daughter Megan.
