Celebrity Ex on the Beach 2022 line-up revealed by MTV - including Megan Barton-Hanson

Reality stars Megan Barton-Hanson and James Lock are returning to our screens for Celebrity Ex on the Beach on MTV.

The pair - who dated briefly in 2021 - will be joined by a host of other reality TV veterans for the latest installment of this hit dating show.

Ex on the Beach does what it says on the tin - keen singletons jet off to Gran Canaria for a chance to meet and mingle.

Soon enough, their exes start rising out of the ocean to disturb the peace.

Drama, of course, ensues as the contestants are kept on their toes without knowing which ex is next.

MTV revealed the lineup for the new celeb series with a new teaser trailer.

Megan Barton-Hanson shared the announcement on her Instagram story.

Megan rose to fame through Love Island, where she turned heads as the bombshell addition. She has since become a very popular influencer and model, as well as hosting the podcast 'You Come First' and writing a sex and relationships column for Vice.

With appearances on Love Island and Celebs Go Dating under her belt, Barton-Hanson is no stranger to TV dating. The 27-year-old met Demi Sims through the latter show, with the pair ending up dating.

The star was linked to James Lock last year but their whirlwind romance was cut short after two months, with Barton-Hanson saying that it just “didn't work out.”

James Lock is known for his time on The Only Way Is Essex, where he recently made headlines for secretly seeing his co-star Chloe Brockett, who also happened to be close with James' recent ex-girlfriend and TOWIE member Yazmin Oukhellou.

Megan hasn't had much luck either: her relationship with Demi Sims, who she met on Celebs Go Dating, didn't end well as cheating claims made it into the press.

Still, the pair are trying their luck again.

Megan will be joined on the island by fellow ex-Love Island contestant Michael Boetang , who ditched his career in the police force to join the show in 2020. Completing the Love Island Alumni is Kaz Crossley, who shook things up as a Casa Amor bombshell.

Kaz has since launched a brand of headbands, and has raised almost 50,000 to build housing for underprivileged children in Thailand.

Adding to the lineup is A'Whora , a drag queen from Season Two of Drag Race UK. This will be the first time that A'Whora will be appearing out of drag as George. Answering questions on the upcoming show on her Instagram, A'Whora revealed that it was “terrifying” to put themselves there as George, as they previously used George as escapism from the hate they experienced as A'Whora.

Completing the lineup are fan favourites Married at First Sight Australia's KC Obsorne, overnight sensation Kori Sampson of Too Hot to Handle and Geordie Shore royalty Nathan Henry .

MTV haven't shared a release date yet, just that the show is coming 'very soon'.
