Celebrity Big Brother 2025: Who are the rumoured contestants?

Who will emulate the Celebrity Big Brother 2024 contestants in 2025? - (ITV)

It’s that time of year again.

Celebrity Big Brother is back for 2025 and fans won’t have to wait long before a new batch of famous faces are locked inside the house for our entertainment.

The upcoming ITV reality series is set to begin in April 2025 and is expected to run for 19 days. This edition will also mark the show’s 25th anniversary, making it even more special.

“Big Brother programming has firmly established itself across ITV’s platforms and become a favourite with our viewers,” Paul Mortimer, director of reality commissioning and acquisitions at ITV, said.

“Together, Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother have grown audiences on ITV1 and ITV2 and amassed almost 100 million streams on ITVX. We’re therefore very excited to be able to throw open the house doors once again for another series of both Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother in 2025, which are sure to promise more unmissable, entertaining, and captivating moments.”

While an exact start date hasn’t yet been announced, the rumour mill is already in full swing over which celebrities could participate. That is despite a show spokesman saying: “Any names are purely speculation at this stage.”

Here are some of the famous names that have been mentioned so far:

Annie Kilner

Annie Kilner is no stranger to the spotlight given her famous husband.

The WAG is married to England defender Kyle Walker, who has allegedly been caught cheating on her more than once. In January, he moved on loan to AC Milan from Manchester City.

Kilner has reportedly been offered £750,000 to appear on Celebrity Big Brother and is seriously considering it. However, she has reportedly told producers she will participate only if they guarantee that Lauryn Goodman — the woman Walker allegedly cheated with — will not be on the show.

Eamonn Holmes

Eamonn Holmes is a well-known TV presenter and journalist, having fronted shows such as This Morning, GMTV, Sky News, and Sunrise.

For years, he worked alongside his wife, Ruth Langsford, and they became one of British television’s most recognisable couples. However, the pair announced their split in 2023 after being married for over 10 years.

Holmes joined GB News in January 2022, co-presenting the breakfast show Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel alongside Isabel Webster. However, in December 2024, it was announced that Ellie Costello would replace Webster as Holmes's co-host starting in 2025.

Tommy Fury

Tommy Fury, a professional boxer, first rose to fame on Love Island in 2019 and is also known as the half-brother of former world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury.

Fury struck up a romance with fellow contestant Molly-Mae Hague on Love Island, and the couple enjoyed a long-term relationship. They welcomed their daughter, Bambi, into the world on January 23, 2023, becoming one of the most talked-about couples from the show.

However, their relationship dramatically turned in 2024 when Hague shared a cryptic social media post revealing their split. In the post, she admitted she “never thought it would end like this,” sparking widespread speculation.

Rumours about Fury’s alleged infidelity have been swirling ever since, adding fuel to the fire of their very public break-up.

Danny Dyer

Actor Danny Dyer, best known for his roles in EastEnders and Rivals, has been widely tipped as a potential Celebrity Big Brother contestant.

Eastenders fans were stunned when his character, Mick Carter, seemingly drowned by plunging into the English Channel in 2022, never to be seen again. However, could the renowned actor make a surprise return, this time not to Albert Square, but to the infamous Big Brother house?

Rebekah Vardy

After seeing her rival Coleen Rooney enjoy success on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, Rebekah Vardy has become a strong contender to appear on the show this year.

The wife of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy is no stranger to the limelight, notably due to the Wagatha Christie scandal. This saw her embroiled in a high-profile court libel case against Rooney. The case, which captured the public’s attention, was ultimately ruled in Rooney’s favour, with the judge finding that Vardy had leaked stories about Rooney to the press.

Vardy has remained in the media spotlight, regularly appearing on TV and in the tabloids.

Her potential Celebrity Big Brother appearance would undoubtedly add more drama to the star-studded line-up.

Paris Fury

Another member of the Fury clan linked to the Celebrity Big Brother house is Paris Fury, wife of Tyson Fury.

No stranger to the spotlight, Fury appeared alongside her family in the Netflix documentary At Home with the Furys, which gave viewers an intimate look into their life behind the scenes.

In addition to her TV appearances, Fury is also an author. She released her 2021 memoir, Love and Fury, where she opens up about her journey and experiences, both as Tyson’s partner and as an individual in her own right.

Fury would surely bring an interesting dynamic to the Big Brother house given her strong presence and candid nature.

Phillip Schofield

Phillip Schofield has tentatively returned to the limelight following the scandal surrounding his affair, which led to his departure from This Morning. After stepping away from ITV, he appeared on Channel 5's Castaway at the end of 2024, marking his first public outing since the controversy.

For over three decades, Schofield was a household name in British television. He first rose to prominence in the 1980s as a children’s presenter on BBC's Broom Cupboard, before becoming a key figure on ITV, hosting renowned shows such as This Morning and Dancing on Ice.

His long-standing partnership with Holly Willoughby on This Morning made them one of the most beloved duos on daytime TV.

However, his career dramatically turned in 2023 when he was embroiled in a scandal involving a much younger colleague at This Morning. This ultimately caused his highly publicised exit from the network.

Could Schofield be poised for a shock comeback to ITV? Time will tell.
