Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have named their newborn baby Lilibet Diana in a sweet nod to the Queen's nickname, which was used by Prince Philip and other members of the royal family.
A statement released by the couple, who welcomed their second child in the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California near to where they live in Montecito, read: "On June 4, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili.
"She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we've felt from across the globe.
"Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family."
The couple haven't released a photo of their child, but did publish black and white images of their family in February when they announced they were expecting their second child.
The name Lilibet has a long heritage in the royal family. It was first used by the Queen's grandfather King George VI when the Queen was a young girl.
Little Elizabeth couldn't pronounce her name properly and called herself 'Lilibet', so the family, including her late husband Prince Philip, carried on calling her by the nickname as an affectionate alternative to her full name.
Princess Charlotte, one of Prince William and Kate's three children, also has the middle names Diana and Elizabeth.

Both of Eva and Ryan's daughters have taken Eva's grandmother's name, Amada.
The name means 'beloved' or 'loved' in Spanish. The couple named their youngest daughter Amada Lee, and their eldest has taken the affectionate term as her middle name, Esmeralda Amada.
Eva and Ryan's first baby was born at the same time as Eva's brother passed away. "We thought how beautiful to go with what made us emotional," she told Latina magazine. "When we looked at her, we thought, 'Aww, Amadita.'"
"In true Latin fashion, we reuse names all the time," she added to the magazine, speaking of how the couple chose the name Amada for both of their children. "I actually told [Ryan], 'This is common in Latin culture, so it wouldn't be crazy.'"
Robert Downey Jr and his wife Susan's daughter Avri Roel
Robert Downey Jr and his wife Susan were ambitious when they named their daughter: they wanted to reference three different people in one name.
Their daughter Avri's middle name 'Roel' first honours Robert Downey Sr, Robert's father, with its first two letters 'Ro', as well as his wife Rosemary and wife Susan's mum Rosie.
The final two letters 'el' are a reference to Robert's mum Elsie and Susan's dad, Eliot Levin, according to People magazine.
Scarlett Johansson's daughter Rose Dorothy
Scarlett is particularly close with her grandmother Dorothy, with who she spent a lot of time with growing up, so she called her daughter Dorothy too, according to a source from Us magazine.
"She is in many ways half of who I and half of who I long to be," Scarlett said about her grandmother while collecting her honorary César film award in Paris.

This former couple referenced two of their grandmothers when they named their daughter Everly Elizabeth Maiselle.
Jenna's grandmother was Elizabeth and Channing's grandmother was named Maiselle, he explained on Late Night with David Letterman.

Nicole and Keith's eldest daughter Sunday Rose is named after Keith's grandmother Rose, and there's a memorable story for why their youngest has the name Faith Margaret.
