Celebrities have started wearing those Viktor & Rolf's slogan dresses

Viktor & Rolf became a social media sensation at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week when the designers sent their 'Fashion Statement' collection down the catwalk.

The frothy rainbow creations, made using eight kilometres of tulle, were adorned with bold statements, like "Sorry I'm late, I didn't want to come", "I'm not shy I just don't like you" and "No photos please."

Instantly, the sassy gowns were a hit and, now, months later, the romantic tulle dresses embellished with witty one liners are unsurprisingly popping up on our Instagram feeds.

Several international fashion publications, such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Elle, have featured the unmissable designs in recent months, while stylish celebrities have been seen wearing the Insta-couture for photoshoots, red carpets, or just a pic for the 'gram.

The most Instagrammed dress from the collection, so far, is an aesthetically pleasing purple number, brandishing the relatable phrase: "Sorry I'm late, I didn't want to come".

Mega influencer Kylie Jenner donned the dress for an issue of Interview Denmark in March. Meanwhile, Busy Philipps, AKA Queen of keeping things real, simply wore it for a humorous Instagram shot. The caption read: "MONDAYS, AMIRIGHT?".

Dua Lipa is the latest star to shine a spotlight on the collection. The singer posted a pic on Instagram of her wearing the brand's statement rainbow sleeved design with the phrase "Leave me alone".

The Brit also added her own witty caption: "The best time to call me is via text". Amen!

Freedom

Hollywood veteran Julia Roberts chose to wear one of the label's multi-coloured designs on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter.

The actress rocked the "Freedom" design as she posed alongside her stylist Elizabeth Stewart. Tres chic.

Go To Hell

YouTube sensation Poppy gave the collection its first twirl on the red carpet last month.

The 24-year-old wore the puff-sleeved yellow number emblazoned with the words "Go to hell" to the iHeartMusic Awards and accessorised the dramatic ensemble with a giant spiked choker and platform trainers.

In recent weeks, singer H.E.R also stepped out in the "I am my own muse" dress for Schon Magazine, and Belgian musician Angèle Van Laeken gave the "Go F*** yourself" dress a starring role in her music video for Balance Ton Quoi.

One thing's for sure, it won't be the last we see of these these eye-catching meme dresses this summer.
