Summer has started and the best of Bristol's events are in full swing. The buzz that so many have missed has certainly returned.
And a huge host of events coming back with a bang means that some of the biggest celebrities are on the line-ups. Stars from all over will be taking to the city ready to perform.
From Pride and Bristol Comedy Garden to six days of events by Bristol Sounds, the city is set to host brilliant performances - and if you're lucky, you might cross paths with some of these big names during their stint in Bristol. We saw David Tennant and Catherine Tate earlier this week as they filmed for Dr Who.

Even if you're not attending these shows, the acts might be out and about in Bristol taking in the sights or enjoying a meal - here are some of the other stars you may spot this summer:
Bristol Comedy Garden is currently bringing some of the funniest folk around to Bristol for a weekend of laughter and fun. Some of the very best comedians including Netflix star James Acaster, Qi’s Alan Davies, This Way Up’s Aisling Bea, and the Mash Report’s Nish Kumar are amongst a hugely hilarious line-up that you can find in Bristol.

Elton John The A-lister is said to be in 'top health' ahead of his concerts at Ashton Gate Stadium this week. The music legend is set to perform on Wednesday (June 22) and Sunday, June 26.
Bristol Sounds is bringing huge stars to Bristol for an impressive six days, including Paolo Nutini - who has a sold out show to look forward to. The much-loved open air series of concerts returns this June with an eclectic line-up of must-see artists including headliners Noel Gallagher’s High-Flying Birds on Wednesday 22.
British electronic duo, Jungle, will guarantee a dynamic dancefloor set on Saturday 25 and First Aid Kit will headline their biggest ever South West show on the final day of the event. Find the full line up here.
Bristol Pride have announced that Carly Rae Jepson will be headlining the event. Whilst Groove Armada will be coming to Bristol for the all new Siren Festival.
Forwards Festival is also new to Bristol and will be bringing The Chemical Brothers for everyone's enjoyment. As well as The Chemical Brothers, the line-up confirmed so far includes Jamie XX, Little Simz, Róisín Murphy, Sleaford Mods, Caribou, Khruangbin and Fred Again.
Tokyo World is also set to bring stars to the city. This year, the festival is being headlined by Busta Rhymes, with the likes of Above & Beyond, Faithless, Pendulum and Mike Skinner from The Streets at the top of the bill. Among the DJs lined up to crack open their sets are Annie Mac, Honey Dijon and Jamie Jones.
