Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has indicated that a potential cease-fire agreement is in the works to release numerous hostages held in Gaza. Netanyahu, currently in Washington for meetings with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, mentioned that conditions for the captives' return are advancing.

Israeli Bill Targeting UN Palestinian Aid Agency Advances

An Israeli parliamentary bill seeking to designate the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, as a terrorist group progressed with a 50-10 vote. The bill alleges militant ties within UNRWA and proposes severing diplomatic relations, potentially impacting vital aid services provided by the agency in Gaza.
