CCTV images of two motorcyclists have been released by police after a crash involving a pedestrian.
Emergency crews descended on to Oaktree Square in Kirkcaldy, Fife, after a woman was struck at 5.40pm on Thursday, April 20. Medics attended and found the 59-year-old injured.
She was raced to nearby Victoria Hospital for treatment to serious but non-life threatening injuries. Her current condition is unknown.
Meanwhile, officers are currently looking to trace two motorcyclists who were in the area at the time of the incident. They believe they could assist them with their ongoing inquiries.
One is described as having red and black with motorbike with short faring. At the time of the collision, they were seen travelling east along Oaktree Square.
The rider of this bike initially stopped at the scene before then leaving.
Sergeant Colin Morrison said: “We are working to establish the full circumstances and want to speak to those riding these motorbikes as we believe they will be able to help us. I would urge anyone who may have information which has not yet been passed to police to come forward.
“We would also be keen to speak to anyone with dashcam or private CCTV from the area. Anyone who can help is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference 3004 of 20 April.”
