CCTV images released after woman robbed of phone while waiting for lift

Police have released two images of a boy they would like to speak to after a woman was robbed of her phone in her own apartment building in Nottingham. The 22-year-old woman was waiting for a lift inside the building in Queens Street at around 6.18pm on Wednesday, December 28, when her mobile was snatched.

Police said a group of five males entered the building and one male asked her for the time before taking the phone and fleeing the scene. The victim was left with a bleeding finger.

Police have now released CCTV images of a boy they would like to trace. PC Sam Richardson, who is investigating the incident for Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a distressing incident for the victim with the robbery taking place in the communal area of her home.
