Images have been released of a man after £1,000 was stolen from a supermarket till in North Tyneside.
The police received a call of a theft taking place at Lidl on George Court in Killingworth at around 8.55pm on November 26.
It was reported that an offender stole around £1,000 in cash from the till but dropped around £600 when running off.

Officers have been investigation what happened and have reviewed CCTV footage. They have now identified a man who they would like to speak to.
He was seen in the area at the time and could have information that can assist the investigation.
He was seen wearing a coat with the hood up and black shorts.
