Police have released an image of a man they want to trace following a number of attempted thefts in Newcastle.
Officers received reports a man tried to gain access to numerous properties on Corchester Walk, in the Heaton area between 2.30am and 5am on Monday, May 1,
He is also reported to have tried a number of car doors and attempted to steal a bicycle.

Northumbria Police are investigating the reports and have released an image of a man who they are trying to trace.
He was in the area at the time the offences were carried out and may be able to assist police with their enquiries.
