CCTV image issued of man wanted in connection with Dundee assault

Police in Dundee have issued a grainy image of a man they are hunting in connection with an assault.

They say the man in the CCTV may be able to assist with ongoing enquiries into the incident last month.

The assault happened on the Hawkhill Road shortly after 1.30am on Sunday, 28 November.

The man is described as white, around 25 to 30-years-old and around 5ft 11ins tall with short black hair.

He was wearing a purple jumper, dark bottoms and white trainers.

Constable Cameron Fraser of Lochee Police Station said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may be able to assist to come forward.

“Anyone with any information can call 101, quoting reference CR/0034552/21, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
