CCTV image appeal after man's nose broken in Nottingham city centre attack

CCTV images have been released by police after an attack on a man in Nottingham city centre left him with a broken nose. Officers were made aware of reports of an assault taking place in High Pavement at around 2.55am on April 27.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was left with a broken nose and cuts to his back. Nottinghamshire Police have since released images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Detective Constable Helen Pannell, investigating the incident, said: “We are still carrying out a full investigation into what happened but are now seeking the public’s help. We believe the man in these CCTV images may be able to help give us information on what happened so are keen to identify who he is.

“The victim in this case is still undergoing treatment for his injuries so if you recognise who this person is please do come forward and get in touch with us.” Anyone who recognises the person pictured is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 178 of 27 April 2023, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
