CCTV appeal to trace woman after bank cards stolen from vehicle in Gateshead

Police have issued a CCTV appeal after a number of bank cards were stolen from a vehicle in Gateshead before being used to purchase a number of items.

Officers received a report that a bag containing bank cards and a coat were stolen from a locked vehicle on Dunsmuir Grove, in Bensham, at around 6am on September 17 last year.

The stolen cards were then used to buy a number of items from a garage nearby as well as paying for a taxi journey. Northumbria Police has now released an image of a woman officers wish to speak to in connection with the theft.
